My Estate

Sometimes you don't even know there's something missing in your life until you stumble upon something new.

I knew Kari from a distance several years ago when we worked at the same place, but we worked in different departments & never got to know one another then. Fast forward a few years: we began chatting intermittently on facebook, and soon those chats turned into early-morning jogs at a park near our respective apartments. We still jog, although not so much in the mornings anymore. We also work in dinner dates, Target trips, and pedicures. And we text like "middle-school girls," as Wes likes to say.

Kari's funny, authentic, and kind. She's hilarious & she's a great listener. She came into my life at the perfect time. I'm so thankful! Don't good friends just make life worth it?

My friends are my estate.

I just read this, because I am way behind on my blog reading. I love this post. You are so sweet, and I like this picture! Except I look really tired. Haha. :)

I'm thankful for your friendship and tell Wes to "get over it" when it comes to the texting thing. :)
